Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
6 oz chocolate chips
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
* Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
* Grease an 8x8 pan
* In a saucepan melt the butter and the chocolate chips together. You can use any type of chocolate chips you want. I used milk chocolate.
* Remove from heat and pour into a bowl.
* Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla
* Stir in the cocoa powder
* Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together
*Stir a little at a time into the wet ingredients
* Pour into pan
* Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
This goes great with my chocolate frosting recipe

i made these last night using hershey's special dark chocolate chips and topped the brownies with your chocolate frosting (though I added a lot more cocoa!!) they were really delicious and a hit with my boyfriend. he requested i permanently ditch my old recipe for yours :) thanks!!
